What is the OCR Clait Plus?
The OCR Clait Plus is a step up from the New Clait qualification. It is part of the Clait suite, which is a package of qualifications offered by the Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR). The Clait suite is regularly updated to keep up with changes in technology and to ensure its relevance for employees and employers alike. Over three million people in the UK have been awarded a Clait qualification – that makes it the country’s most popular computer qualification.
Tailored to meet your needs
With Clait Plus 2006 you can customise the qualification to suit your own goals. There is one coreunit called Integrated e-document production, which everyone must do. After that, you choose units from those on offer. If you choose two further units you can get the Clait Plus 2006 Certificate, but choose four, and you could get the Clait Plus 2006 Diploma.
By having this choice, you can ensure your Clait Plus 2006 qualification really will give you the specific skills you need to achieve your goals.
Preparing for the test
To be confident of passing your Clait Plus tests, there is a range of Prepare For Clait Plus courses available. These extra courses help you prepare for assessment and include practical tests, so you can decide when you’re ready to take the assessment at the end of each module.
Clait Plus Units
- Unit 1 - (Mandatory) Integrated e- Documentation productions
- Unit 2 - Manipulating spreadsheets and graphs
- Unit 3 - Creating and using a database
- Unit 4 - e-Publication design
- Unit 5 - Design an e-presentation
- Unit 6 - e-image manipulation
- Unit 7 - Website creation
- Unit 8 - Electronic communication
- Each unit takes about 15 hours to complete
Mersey VLC Clait Plus Packages
The Clait plus Packages includes all training and appropriate tests plus full tutor support through to obtaining your Certificate and / or Diploma. The Clait Plus package is either FREE or£170.00 Inc Vat for the Certificate or £270.00 Inc Vat for the Diploma for individuals who meet the funding criteria. For those who do are not eligible, the unfunded price for the Certificate is £180.00 Inc Vat and the unfunded price for the Diploma is ££290.00. Inc Vat
